Candy Bleakz snags a feature in Native Mag’s “Best New Artists” for August. Candy Bleakz who’s had a brilliant run this year 2021, after scoring a hit record with Teni titled “Babanla” is no surprise she’s getting the recognition she’s having.
The editorial featured other acts like Nigerian fast-rising star, AV, Ria Sean, Dani Draco, Boohle, and others who are making a mark for themselves.
Candy Bleakz talked about her personality, how she makes her music with Native Mag. In her words:
“In my music, I try to form a bad girl. I’m not really a bad girl. In my music videos specifically, I try to get a gangsta look to match my vibe. I still think I’m a gangsta though haha.”
“When I hear a beat I know what I want to do. I’m more straightforward and I always try to make sure all my music has the specific information I’m trying to pass.”
