David Obafemi, also popularly known as Noon Dave was born in Benin Republic on May 23. He is a singer/songwriter who is now currently signed to Chocolate City Music. The Ogun State native began writing music at a young age. He spent the majority of his childhood in Lagos, Nigeria, and absorbed the majority of his inspirations there.
In 2022, he signed a Recording Artist Agreement with Africa’s leading entertainment firm, Chocolate City music, to improve his musical compositions and reach new limits with his sound. His artistic approach promises to keep him essential in the industry for a long time.
A distinguished graduate of the prestigious Peter Kings College of Music, Noon Dave is a musical chameleon, drawing seductive inspirations from a mosaic of genres. Picture this: Soul, R&B, Pop, Reggae, and the irresistible allure of Afrobeats fuse seamlessly in his veins, igniting a fire that births music that’s pure dynamite.
Noon Dave kickstarted the year 2024 on a high note with the release of a live version of some of his favourite previously recorded songs which he titled “Noon At Noon” EP. This collection of 5 songs displays Noon’s versatility and showcases his beautiful vocals on each track. He followed up with another single release, a song titled “Face Card” which is an anthem for the beautiful individuals who love to show off their pretty faces.
Noon Dave is warming the hearts of listeners as he released his debut project “GEM” EP on the 13th of September 2024 – A showcase of his artistic range & evolution.
The year 2025 started on an impressive note with Noon Dave releasing a new single “Believe”, This song which is an energetic and soul-stirring track that encourages fans to trust in their journey, push through adversity, ands stay motivated to achieve their dreams.
