John Saviours Udomboso is an award winning Afro-pop , singer/songwriter and producer. Born on February 16, 1995, Young Jonn spent his early childhood in Ibadan and began producing music in 2009 before moving finally to Lagos in 2012.
He released a set of two-pack high tempo single “Disconnect + Go Hard”on November 16th 2023. These pulsating anthems effortlessly blends elements of Afropop & amapiano with Young Jonn delivering a beautiful display of musical prowress. These singles served as an opener to his debut album “JIGGY FOREVER” release 12th of April 2024.
“JIGGY FOREVER” created another massive run for Young Jonn with hit singles like “Big Big Things”, “Stronger”, “Bahamas”, “Aquafina”, “Sharpallly” & “Pot Of Gold”, this project went ahead to become one of the most charting projects of 2024 with over 40 weeks spent on Spotify album charts. Streaming wise, the project has amassed over 500Million streams and has garnered several nominations at the nigerian prestigious award, The Headies. Young Jonn in turn toured with this project in America, North America, Europe & lastly Nigeria giving the fans an amazinhg experience amd shutting down every venue with a sold out event. Young Jonn was definitely one of the best artists for the year 2024.
November 2025, Young Jonn released his sophomore album “blue disco” which debuted at the top of the apple music nigeria charts and has grossed over 140 million streams across digital streaming platforms since it release.
